Hulk Hogan could be facing jail time

It just keeps getting worse for Hogan

Disgraced wrestling legend Hulk Hogan could be facing jail time for lying under oath according to the National Enquirer. Comments he made during his ongoing sex tape lawsuit with Gawker reportedly differ from those he made to the FBI when the tape first emerged.

This means he either lied to the FBI which could be construed as “obstruction of justice,” or Gawker’s lawyers under oath, which would be perjury. Both could result in prison sentences.

"That's how Martha Stewart got nailed,” a defense attorney told the Enquirer. “It wasn't insider trading that put her in jail. It was the lie she told to the cops."

“Any way you slice it, either one of those exposes him to criminal liability,” said Javier Solano, a former assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Meanwhile Gawker denies allegations that it was them who leaked Hogan’s racist comments, which were sealed as part of the sex tape lawsuit. Heather Dietrick, President and General Counsel of Gawker told Sportskeeda "Hulk Hogan has only one person to blame for what he said and no one from Gawker had any role in leaking that information." The Hulkster’s lawyers believe they leaked the comments to get the public on their side.
