In case you didn't know...
Big Cass was released from WWE in the middle of a storyline with Daniel Bryan back in June for what was reported to be behavioural issues which included the fact that Cass was seemingly drunk as part of the tour following WrestleMania.
Cass was unable to lift any Championships during his time in WWE but he is someone who is memorable to the WWE Universe and someone who many believe will be successful on the Independent Circuit.
The heart of the matter
Back in August, it was revealed that Big Cass was going to make his debut on the Independent Circuit for Big Time Wrestling but he was given the name Big Cazz at the time. Fast forward a few weeks and Big Time Wrestling has released promotional material for their upcoming show on September 21st where Big Cass is now advertised as Big C.
This is the first appearance that Cass will make on the Independent Circuit since he left WWE because his 90-day release clause has now come to an end and he's free to work for other companies.
The show includes a number of familiar faces including former WWE stars Emma, James Ellsworth, Tommy Dreamer and James Storm as well as WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
What's next?
Big Time Wrestling's epic show will take place live from The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium Sparatanburg, SC, on Friday, September 21.
