Former WWE Divas Champion Celeste Bonin, aka Kaitlyn, returned to the ring for the first time in over 4 years on February 10, 2018. The 31-year-old performed for Costal Championship Wrestling, defeating Rachel Ellering, the 25-year-old daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering.
In case you didn’t know…
Even though Kaitlyn is a former Divas Champion, she is primarily known for her on-screen rivalry with AJ Lee. The Houston native hung up her boots in 2014 to focus on her marriage and clothing line.

The heart of the matter
Despite not having wrestled for almost four years, Kaitlyn did not show any signs of ring rust and looked really sharp for her return match as she successfully managed to defeat Ellering, after nailing the former RPW Women’s Champion with a spear.
Kaitlyn has been recently training at the Main Event Training Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which is under the direction of Pablo Marquez, who was known as Babu during his time with the WWF.
Upon her return to pro wrestling, Kaitlyn is likely to spend some time on the Independent scene. However, there is no question that she will be open to a WWE return.
Author’s take
During her time with WWE, Kaitlyn was a solid and dependable in-ring performer who was capable of carrying a storyline. However, she may not necessarily fit in with today's women's division.
