#2 Why it is good: Corbin is improving and getting over
Baron Corbin has been one of the most disliked Superstars in the WWE Universe. And for him, given that he is a heel, it is perfect. In general, the consensus was that he is not as good inside the ring and that there are many others who would do better if they were pushed.
Slowly and steadily, however, Corbin is turning the tide. Despite many attempts, WWE were failing to get him over with the fans, but in his recent Triple Threat match against Samoa Joe and Ricochet in the King of the Ring semifinals, fans broke out a ‘Baron Corbin, Corbin sucks’ chant.
Finally, it was happening – he was getting over as a heel with the fans.
His matches are no longer ‘boring’, as over the past few months – especially during his bouts against Seth Rollins – he has improved a lot in terms of in-ring ability.
In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to claim that Corbin put out some of his best matches in the King of the Ring tournament, which, in a poetic way, is the fruit of his hard work in the ring.
Not only does he look good inside the ring, he also make his opponent look amazing – and becoming the King would be like a present for all the hard work that he has put in.
