It will be a great time for pro wrestling fans when the USA Network presents WWE shows beginning next Monday with a new edition of RAW. The red brand, NXT, and Friday Night SmackDown will all be airing on the same network and will do so for the rest of September 2024.

One of the biggest matches announced for WWE Week is an Eight-Man Tag Team Street Fight. Uncle Howdy's The Wyatt Sicks will take on Chad Gable's American Made in what should be an epic bout. Things might get even more interesting if Matt Hardy makes his return to the Stamford-based company.

Matt Hardy left World Wrestling Entertainment in 2020 to join All Elite Wrestling. He left the Tony Khan-led promotion this year and the legendary star now works for TNA Wrestling. Being free from ties to AEW, the 49-year-old could appear on RAW and if he does, he may very well confront Uncle Howdy.

Matt has quite the history with Uncle Howdy's brother, the late Bray Wyatt. The two were rivals and had a big fight on Hardy's compound. Later on, the two united and even became RAW Tag Team Champions together.

Matt could show up and be annoyed that Howdy did not invite him into The Wyatt Sicks. Alternatively, he could show up and align himself with the group, helping Howdy, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy dominate American Made.

Matt Hardy could also return alongside his brother Jeff Hardy to chase WWE tag team gold

Matt Hardy's WWE return would not necessarily have to be with or feuding with The Wyatt Sicks. In fact, he would not even necessarily return to the Stamford-based promotion on his own. Instead, he could be joined by Jeff Hardy.

The Hardy Boyz are one of the greatest tag teams in the history of wrestling and they have had a lot of success over the years. With that being said, there is some gold they have never held and new belt designs they have never worn.

For example, Matt and Jeff have never been the NXT Tag Team Champions, so the two could conceivably wrestle Fraxiom at some point. Alternatively, they could challenge Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championship on RAW.

Jeff and Matt could also challenge The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa for the WWE Tag Team Championship, although that would be much riskier given how dangerous the heel stable is. Regardless, the two legends could return to World Wrestling Entertainment together and attempt to have one more title reign in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
