Former Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes signed a contract to work together as a tag team against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood. However, prior to signing the contract, The Original Tribal Chief claimed that he didn't need The American Nightmare's help to take back what was rightfully his. On the other hand, the Undisputed WWE Champion let his former rival know that SmackDown ceased to be Reigns' show since WrestleMania XL.
The above being said, it's established that there's still unresolved tension and bitterness between the former rivals, even though they agreed to work together. This can lead to potentially becoming an obstacle during the match unless Paul Heyman returns to iron out the issues.
Roman Reigns has immense respect for the WWE Hall of Famer, and he will not disregard anything Heyman has to say. Furthermore, The Wiseman has always showered The Big Dog with affection and looked out for him. As far as Cody Rhodes is concerned, Heyman goes back a long way with The American Nightmare and he respects the Undisputed WWE Champion.
The Hall of Famer will try his best to ensure that Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline does not survive and that the two stalwarts in Rhodes and Reigns can work together, even if for a short period of time, for the greater good.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The WWE legend has a way of convincing others to work together. Using his exquisite oratory skills, he can help Rhodes and Reigns work out their issues and build a bond between them. This will ensure the unlikely tag team communicates well during WWE Bad Blood, and successfully takes down The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Another WWE legend objected to John Cena naming Roman Reigns "GOAT"
John Cena and Roman Reigns have a storied history with each other when it comes to the squared circle. In fact, the 16-time world champion was one of the superstars who played a role in Cody Rhodes dethroning The Big Dog at WrestleMania XL. However, The Leader of Cenation has still stuck to calling The OTC the "greatest of all time."
WWE legend Ken Shamrock objected to this, revealing that there are no specific measurements that can make one wrestler the greatest of all time.
"I think it's unfair. I just... how do you measure that? I just think there's so many great wrestlers. I would put Rock up there, no question, yeah, absolutely no question. I would put John Cena up there. I mean... I would put Shawn Michaels up there. I mean, there's so many guys that you could put up there and make a great argument."
While it's true that several superstars throughout the years have contributed massively to the growth of the company, Roman Reigns pulled the company during a time when fans weren't allowed to come to arenas. Furthermore, he kept fans invested in a championship storyline despite working a part-time schedule.
