The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is nearly two months away, scheduled to take place in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 1. In addition to the respective Men's and Women's Royal Rumble Matches, all titles are expected to be on the line.
One of them is the World Heavyweight Championship, with the reigning champion, Gunther, putting his title on the line against Damian Priest at Survivor Series: WarGames this Saturday, November 30.
This is a rematch from SummerSlam, and if The Ring General stands tall, his next opponent is expected to be one of the top faces in WWE. This top star is CM Punk, who returned after a six-week hiatus and reunited with Paul Heyman on SmackDown, joining The OG Bloodline as the fifth member for their WarGames match against the new Bloodline.
This is a one-off appearance for CM Punk in The Bloodline Civil War, with The Best in the World already making it clear that he will go after Gunther.

The two megastars could start their feud immediately after Survivor Series, but the next PLE, Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, looks too early for their match to take place. WWE could extend their feud through the RAW premiere on Netflix (January 6, 2025) and announce a title match for the 2025 Royal Rumble.
A match there could open the way for the next storylines, as Punk, who would become a World Champion again after 12 years, could dethrone Gunther and re-ignite his rivalry with Seth Rollins, this time as a champion. WWE plans to have a Punk vs. Rollins match at WrestleMania 41.
As for The Ring General, Goldberg could show up and distract him, costing him the title and setting the stage for the legend's retirement match at 'Mania 41.
What should fans expect to see at the 2025 Royal Rumble?
Survivor Series: WarGames could give fans a hint on what to expect at the 2025 Royal Rumble. What is certain is that John Cena will take part in the premium live event for one last time, yet it is unclear whether he will have a title match or will join the Men's Royal Rumble Match.
The expectation is that all the top WWE stars, including The Rock, Roman Reigns, and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, will be in action. The same goes for the reigning Women's World Champion, Liv Morgan, and the Women's Champion, Nia Jax, unless Tiffany Stratton has already cashed in her MITB briefcase.
What will be new is the fact that the newly-introduced Women's Intercontinental Championship and Women's United States Championship will be defended. The inaugural Women's US Champion will be crowned at Saturday Night's Main Event, while the first-ever Women's IC Champion will most likely be crowned at the RAW premiere on Netflix.
