WWE Live Event: John Cena and Adam Rose suffer minor injuries

John Cena injured during WWE Live event at Madison

WWE Live Event took place at Madison, Wisconsin this weekend and John Cena reportedly suffered an eye injury during his match against Bray Wyatt.

The Cenation leader, who was booked for the night, took a blow to his eye few minutes after his match got one the way. Bray Wyatt started head-butting the former World champion on the corner ropes perhaps out of which one strike may have landed awkwardly on Cena’s eye. It also could have been Bray’s hair that poked Cena’s eye.

Cena was quick to let the referee know about his pain as he crossed his hands to show the X symbol. Two trainers came out in his aid and attended to his injuries.

As it appeared, Cena’s eye was totally closed for the rest of the match. He usually engages the fans after a match before leaving, but on this occasion he left very soon.

Meanwhile, Adam Rose also suffered an injury on the night as he was busted open during his match with Heath Slater. He suffered a deep cut above his right eye which got the referee to tend to his injuries, with the trainers cleaning up the blood.
