WWE brought the SmackDown Live roster to Boise, Idaho on Saturday, Sept. 30. 2017 at the Taco Bell Arena.
The Boise show was the last SmackDown house show for September and featured Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, and AJ Styles in some interesting matches.
#1 New Day(c) vs. Breezango vs. The Usos – SmackDown Tag Team Championships
The show opened with The New Day taking on Breezango and The Usos in a match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
The fans were impressed with the opener. They were happy to see The New Day retain the tag team championships in the end.
Result: New Day retain titles against Breezango and The Usos
#2 Chad Gable vs. Rusev
Next up was a bout between the Bulgarian Brute Rusev and Chad Gable.
The matches that both men had on SmackDown were fantastic and this match was said to be another one of their great matches as opponents. The crowd was heavily against Rusev with chants of "USA" and "Rusev sucks" throughout the contest.
The match ended when Rusev made Gable tap to The Accolade.
Result: Rusev defeated Chad Gable
#3 Erick Rowan & The Ascension vs. Luke Harper & The Hype Bros
The next match saw Luke Harper and Erick Rowan teaming with different tag teams and facing off against each other.
Harper was positioned as the face and teamed with The Hype Bros while Erick Rowan was a heel and teamed with The Ascension.
In the end, Harper, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley emerged victorious when Harper pinned Konnor after a Discuss Clothesline.
Result: Luke Harper & Hype Bros defeated Erick Rowan & The Ascension
#4 Mike Kanellis vs. Sami Zayn/Sin Cara vs. Mike Kanellis
Mike Kanellis has been absent from WWE television for quite a while, but he’s still wrestling on the house shows and his opponent in Boise was The Underdog from the Underground.
However, Zayn managed to defeat Kanellis and pick up a rare win with the Helluva Kick.
Kanellis asked for another match and was given Sin Cara as the challenger, but Sin Cara defeated Kanellis in a short match after a frog splash.
Result: Sami Zayn defeats Mike Kanellis/Sin Cara defeats Mike Kanellis
#5 AJ Styles(c) vs. Baron Corbin vs. Kevin Owens vs. Tye Dillinger – United States Championship
The Phenomenal One was in action while defending his United States Championship against some of his former and current rivals including Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Tye Dillinger.
The match ended when Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Corbin for the victory.
Results: AJ Styles retains US Championship against Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Tye Dillinger
#6 Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair & Naomi vs. Carmella, Lana & Natalya
The SmackDown Women’s Division were all in this match excluding Tamina as the babyface team of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Naomi took on the heel team comprised of Miss Money in the Bank Carmella, Lana, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya.
The match ended when Flair made Lana tap out to the Figure eight.
Result: Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi defeat Lana, Carmella, and Natalya
#7 Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler
One of the big matches for Hell in a Cell with The Glorious One Bobby Roode taking on The Showoff Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler cut a promo bragging about being better than everyone in Boise before Roode made his entrance and received the praise and chants from the audience.
The match ended in victory for Roode after he evaded a Superkick and nailed a Glorious DDT for the victory.

#8 Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE Championship
The main event was a WWE Championship match between Jinder Mahal and The King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura.
Mahal came out to massive boos from the audience while Nakamura captivated fans with his entrance.
During the match, fans turned harsh towards Mahal as chants of “You Can’t Wrestle” broke out directed at the Modern-Day Maharaja.
Perhaps, the biggest news coming out of this match was the “USA” chants in a match where there were only foreign wrestlers in the ring.
Regardless, Jinder managed to retain the championship against Nakamura once more, but Nakamura hit a post-match Kinshasa on Mahal and the Singh Brothers.
