WWE are currently on their European tour and have been doing shows in places such as Ireland, Scotland, and England. Last night, the Raw roster made a stop in Wales for a show in Cardiff.

The card featured the likes of Asuka, Triple H, Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and also saw Finn Balor and Samoa renew an old rivalry from their NXT days. Pete Dunne also defended his WWE UK Title on the night.


#1 Finn Balor vs Samoa Joe

These two men have a lot of history from their NXT days, where they had one of the most intense rivalries over the NXT Championship.

At Cardiff, both of these men renewed their rivalry as Balor squared off in a solid match against Joe that saw the former Universal Champion reign supreme after gaining a hard-fought victory over Joe.

Result: Finn Balor def. Samoa Joe


#2 Asuka vs Mickie James

Much like Balor and Joe, Asuka and Mickie James also faced off against each other back in NXT.

The two ladies were once again back at it in front of the Cardiff crowd, in a solid match that saw Asuka and James go back and forth against each other. But in the end, it was Asuka who got the victory over the former six-time WWE Women’s Champion.

Result: Asuka def. Mickie James

#3 Goldust, Heath Slater, Rhyno and Jason Jordan vs Elias, Bo Dallas, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows

This was a fun eight-man tag team match between four babyfaces and four heels. Elias managed to attract some amazing heel heat towards himself on the night, but his team wasn’t able to get the victory as Jason Jordan and co. got the three count for the win.

Result: Goldust, Heath Slater, Rhyno and Jason Jordan def. Elias, Bo Dallas, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows


#4 Enzo Amore vs Kalisto (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

This was the first title defence on the night as Enzo defended his CW Title against his long-term rival Kalisto in a one-on-one match.

The current champion once again managed to outsmart the masked luchador and got a major boost ahead of Survivor Series, as he retained his title in Cardiff.

Result: Enzo Amore def. Kalisto to retain the Cruiserweight Title

#5 Pete Dunne vs Mark Andrews (WWE UK Championship)

Mark Andrews was hugely over with his hometown crowd on the night as he went toe-to-toe with his arch-enemy Pete Dunne in order to capture the WWE UK Title on the night.

Despite being the crowd favourite Andrews failed to dethrone Dunne and win the UK Title for the first time in his career as “The Bruiserweight” retained his championship.

Result: Pete Dunne def. Mark Andrews to retain the WWE UK Title


#6 Braun Strowman vs Kane

The two monsters have been facing off against each other throughout this European tour and Cardiff was no different as the two men once again collided in a clash of two titans.

"The Monster Among Men" managed to get the victory over Kane on the night via disqualification.

Result: Braun Strowman def. Kane

#7 Bayley and Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax

Bayley and Banks have been teaming up with each other a lot in these house shows in recent weeks and Cardiff was no different as the duo faced off against the team of current Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.

Bayley and Banks were the crowd favourite on the night and delivered on the occasion as well, after managing to beat Bliss and Jax on the night.

Result: Bayley and Sasha Banks def. Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax


#8 The Miz vs Matt Hardy (WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Matt Hardy got a shot at the IC Title last week on Raw but failed to defeat “The A-Lister” and become the new champion.

However, Hardy once again got a shot at Miz’s title in Wales, but much like this past Monday, the former Raw Tag Team Champion was unable to defeat The Miz and take his IC Title from him.

Result: The Miz def. Matt Hardy to retain the Intercontinental Title

#9 Triple H, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, and Sheamus

Triple H once again filled in for Roman Reigns on the night, as he became an honorary member of The Shield in Wales.

The trio of Ambrose, Rollins and “The Game” was able to defeat the trio of The Bar and Bray Wyatt after hitting a Triple Powerbomb and getting the pinfall victory.

Result: The Shield def. Cesaro, Sheamus, and Bray Wyatt
