Samoa Joe issued a United States Open challenge, and that was answered by none other than his former bitter rival - AJ Styles. Joe blindsided Styles at the start and would then proceed with the beatdown.

Joe was unable to get the better of Styles, and wound up getting DQ'd.

Charlotte Flair took on bitter rival Becky Lynch in a defence of her newly-won SmackDown Women's title. She would end up submitting Lynch after using assistance from the ropes.
