WWE’s European tour rolled on last night as the Smackdown Live roster landed in Leeds for a show at the First Direct Arena.

The Leeds crowd got to witness a very a solid match card featuring the likes Bobby Roode, The Usos, Charlotte Flair and new WWE Champion AJ Styles, and much more.


#1 Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler

“The Glorious One” and “The Showoff” continued their rivalry in Leeds as the two men once again went toe-to-toe with each other.

Ziggler and Roode haven’t failed to put up a solid a match whenever they step into the ring with each other and Leeds were no different, as Roode managed to defeat Ziggler once again.

#2 The Usos vs Breezango (WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship)

The Usos defended their Smackdown Tag Team Titles earlier this week on Smackdown Live in a match that ended in a count win for Gable and Benjamin, after Jey Uso got seriously injured.

However, the Uso brothers were back in action last night as they successfully defended their tag team titles against the duo of Tyler Breeze and Fandango.

Result: The Usos def. Breezango

#3 Baron Corbin vs Sin Cara- (WWE United States Championship)

Another superstar who made his return to the ring was Sin Cara, who was injured at a recent house show but made his return last night in Leeds.

However, Sin Cara’s return didn’t result in a happy ending as “The Lone Wolf” made another successful US Title defence against the masked luchador.

Result: Baron Corbin def. Sin Cara


#4 Moustache Mountain vs Sam Gradwell and Saxon Huxley

Next up was a tag team match between four of Britain's top elite stars, as the over popular team of Tyler Bate and Trent Seven faced off against the team of Sam Gradwell and Saxon Huxley, who were both parts of WWE’s UK Tournament earlier in the year.

The four men put up a solid match for the Leeds crowd as the Moustache Mountain came out on top defeating the duo of Gradwell and Huxley on the night

#5 Randy Orton vs Rusev

Rusev and Randy Orton have been facing each other for months now and Leeds was no different as “The Bulgarian Brute” looked forward to picking up an unlikely win over “The Viper”.

However, the 13 time World Champion once again outsmarted Rusev by hitting with an RKO Outta Nowhere and picked up the win for himself.

Result: Randy Orton def. Rusev

#6 Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Naomi vs Carmella, Tamina, Lana and Natalya

Much like every house show on this European tour Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Charlotte Flair teamed up with each other to take on the heel team of Smackdown Live which consists of Carmella, Tamina, Lana, and Natalya.

Despite the numbers being against Becky and co. they managed to outsmart the team consisting of the Smackdown Women’s Champion and got the win on the night. After the match, James Ellsworth once again got a brutal beating in the hands of the Women’s division of the blue brand.

Result: Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Naomi def. Lana, Tamina, Natalya, and Carmella


#7 Tye Dillinger and The Ascension vs Mike Kanellis and The Bludgeon Brothers

Leeds witnessed a mega six-man tag team bout last night as “The Perfect 10” teamed up with The Ascension to take on the team of Mike Kanellis and Smackdown’s newest tag team The Bludgeon Brothers.

The match itself was fast paced and had a lot of action but in the end, it was the babyface team of Dillinger and co. who would pick up the win at the First Direct Arena.

#8 AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal- (WWE Championship match)

The new WWE Champion AJ Styles got a huge reception from the UK crowd once again on the night, as he made his first title defence against “The Maharaja” and “The Artist” on the night.

As expected the match was brilliant, thanks to the inclusion of Nakamura in it but the former NXT Champion was not able to win the belt off Styles after “The Phenomenal One” pinned Jinder Mahal following a Phenomenal Forearm.

Result: AJ Styles def. Shinsuke Nakamura and Jinder Mahal
