The WWE put forth a SmackDown-branded live event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada—one that saw a rather intriguing segment featuring The Miz and Daniel Bryan.

The event was headlined by a hard-hitting matchup featuring the blue brand’s reigning champions. Additionally, several other exciting matches also transpired on the card.

So, without further ado, here are the complete results of the SmackDown live event from Ottawa (April 20th, 2018)—

#1 Asuka, Naomi & Becky Lynch vs. Lana, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

Asuka, Naomi & Becky Lynch received a grand welcome in Ottawa, as the fans cheered for their team right from their respective entrances until well after their big win.

Asuka dominated the matchup, and while Naomi & Lynch had their moments too; the team of Lana, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville seemed thoroughly outmatched throughout. In the end, Asuka, Naomi & Lynch picked up the victory.

#2 Big Cass vs. Tye Dillinger

Big Cass put on yet another one-sided beat-down on his opponent—this time none other than “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger.

Cass got off to a flying start, as he utilized his size advantage to hurl Dillinger around the ring. Cass then put Dillinger down for the pinfall victory and proceeded to talk trash with the ringside fans.

Result: Big Cass def. Tye Dillinger

#3 The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Rusev Day

The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper & Rowan) defended their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos, The New Day and Rusev Day (Rusev & Aiden English).

Harper & Rowan controlled the first half of this matchup, however, Jimmy & Jey Uso, in particular, came back strong mid-match. Regardless, The Bludgeon Brothers persevered and picked up the victory—successfully defending their Tag Team titles.

Result: The Bludgeon Brothers def. The Usos, The New Day, and Rusev Day


#4 Shelton Benjamin vs. Sin Cara

Shelton Benjamin put on a wrestling clinic opposite Sin Cara, in what was a highly-exciting matchup.

Benjamin did face a few problems with Sin Cara’s speed early on—as the latter stayed away from Benjamin’s vaunted mat-wrestling game. Nevertheless, Benjamin eventually took matters to the ground and bested Sin Cara with his superior grappling skills.

Result: Shelton Benjamin def. Sin Cara

#5 The Miz and Daniel Bryan face-off

The Miz hosted a special edition of Miz TV, as his guest was none other than his longtime rival, Daniel Bryan.

The segment featured Miz taking subtle shots at Bryan while trying his best to avoid an altercation. However, in light of Miz’s constant taunts, Bryan ended up attacking Miz—with fans at the event putting forth the night’s greatest response for Bryan.

Result: Daniel Bryan closed the segment standing tall


#6 Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Bar

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson engaged in a back-and-forth affair with The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus).

The Bar dominated the initial part of this matchup, with Gallows & Anderson coming back strong midway. In the end, Gallows & Anderson managed to eke out a victory over The Bar.

Result: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson def. The Bar

#7 Charlotte Flair vs. Carmella

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella defended her title against Charlotte Flair.

While Flair dominated most of the mat exchanges, Carmella ended up getting disqualified—thereby leading to a DQ victory for Flair. However, since the title isn’t eligible to change hands by way of Disqualification, Carmella walked away with her SmackDown Women’s Championship intact.

Result: Charlotte Flair def. Carmella


#8 AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Samoa Joe

WWE Champion AJ Styles teamed up with United States Champion Jeff Hardy so as to take on the team of Shinsuke Nakamura & Samoa Joe.

This matchup is said to have been incredibly intense and competitive, as momentum constantly swayed from one team to another. In the end, Styles & Hardy managed to pick up the win—much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

Result: AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy def. Shinsuke Nakamura & Samoa Joe
