#4 Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton
It was not too long ago when Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton were embroiled in a personal rivalry with the WWE Championship on the line. In the end, it was Brock Lesnar who swooped in and took away the WWE Champion after a seven-second shocker.
Nonetheless, Kingston and Orton continued their feud on the live event circuit with a decent match at the Sydney live event.
The match had its fair share of interruptions as Big E and The Revival ran out influence the outcome of the match.
Kingston got the win here after he hit Orton with the Trouble in Paradise. It was a typical Kingston/Orton match that was slow and 'methodical' at times. It was still a good match with a lot of star power that kept the fans invested.
Result: Kofi Kingston def. Randy Orton
#5 Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ali (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
The Intercontinental title was defended next as Shinsuke Nakamura took on Ali in what ended up being a really decent outing for the two Superstars.
Ali showed off his athletic capabilities as always and gave Nakamura a run for his money. However, a distraction from Sami Zayn proved to be the decisive factor as Nakamura hit Ali with the Kinshasa for the win.
This was a good match to warm up the fans before the final two bouts of the evening.
Result: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Ali via pinfall
