Match #6 - John Cena vs Roman Reigns
This past September, the WWE Universe was treated to a feud that surprisingly had never happened before when John Cena and Roman Reigns clashed at No Mercy.
Reigns came out on top then, and they would clash for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Madison Square Garden in New York City the day after Christmas last year, with Reigns winning again.
Both men (who will take part in the Elimination Chamber match) clashed again in Fresno, and once again Cena couldn't get past Reigns. It may be safe to say that the torch is being passed.
Result - Roman Reigns defeated John Cena
Match #7 - The Bar vs Finn Balor and Seth Rollins for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
The main event of the evening in Fresno was for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship when The Bar defended their title against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.
Both Balor and Rollins were in the first-ever WWE Universal Championship match at SummerSlam in 2016 where Balor won but suffered an injury and had to relinquish the championship the next day.
Rollins had his own major injury when he tore his ACL in 2015, and he bonded with Balor during their rehabs. That bond would lead to a tag team championship win eventually with this talented duo, but due to disqualification, The Bar escaped Fresno still the champs.
Result - Seth Rollins and Finn Balor defeated The Bar by disqualification (The Bar retains the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship)
