WWE Main Event: Results - 18th December

Main Event once again proved to be an entertaining show with decent segments and matches that did manage to keep the crowd interested.

The show had a bit of Christmas fun too with Foley dressing as Santa Claus. Miz had a comic segment protecting Santa from Curtis Axel.

Here are the matches that took place and their respective results.

1. R-Truth and Xavier Woods vs. 3MB

One of those predictable matches that always somehow, make their way to the card. The winners were pretty obvious but 3MB still managed to put up some fight. Xavier Woods showed why he is the best prospect from NXT to make it to the main roster. He displayed great athleticism and skill and is in line to make it big in the bigger shows.

Winner: R-Truth and Xavier Woods

2. AJ Lee vs. Kaitlyn

The Divas division is on a real high at the moment and AJ Lee seems to be the best diva around. Even the Bella Twins who have in the past been accused of poor in-ring show have stepped up and showed some real intent. The same trend seemed evident in this match as the two top Divas of the company put up a good match. Though it got very less time it was a fun match nevertheless.

Winner: AJ Lee

3. Curtis Axel vs The Miz

Mick Foley or the Foley Claus came out to please the kids and the stunt worked. The segment was a bit funny and the Miz did a typical face act. The entire segment was decent and both wrestlers put up a better than average match. Miz beat Axel with the Skull Crushing Finale. The ending was entertaining as Foley hit Ryback with Mr. Socko.
