WWE returned to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Main Event show as things kicked off with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett coming out to the ring and mocking Rob Van Dam. Moments later RVD confronted Barrett after running in from the crowd. RVD tossed Barrett out of the ring and his music hits as fans started chanting for “Rob Van Dam.”

In a backstage segment, Cody Rhodes and Goldust were engaged in a conversation before a Network promo of Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon aired.

Here are the results from last night’s show.

Kofi Kingston and Goldust vs. Eric Rowan and Luke Harper

Goldust enters the ring accompanied by Kofi Kingston who is chosen as his partner by Cody Rhodes. Goldust starts off with Eric Rowan as he takes off his sheep mask and the fight begins. Moments later, Kofi is tagged in and he executes a dropkick followed by an uppercut on Rowan. Goldust is tagged in later as the two double team on Rowan. Luke Harper gets into the action as he is tagged in for the first time to face Kofi. Harper nails a dropkick on Kofi and covers for a 2 count.

Goldust makes a brief comeback and takes out Harper. Kofi delivers a top rope forearm on Harper. Kofi nails a dropkick on Harper followed by the Boom Drop. The match slightly gets out of the hand as Rowan tries to intervene. Goldust enters and sends Rowan out of the ring. Kofi sets himself to deliver Trouble In Paradise as Harper blocks the finisher and delivers a big clothesline for the win.

Winners: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

• WWE Intercontinental title match: Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett

The match was slow to begin with as Rob Van Dam tried his best to gain control of the match but clearly it was Barrett who dominated throughout. RVD makes a comeback with clotheslines and delivers a big kick to Barrett. He follows it with a Rolling Thunder and covers for a near fall. Now Barrett nails RVD with Winds of Change for another 2 count. RVD goes to the top for the Five Star Frogsplash, but Barrett knocks him off. Barrett prepares himself to deliver a Bullhammer as Cesaro enters the ring and nails Barrett with Neutralizer for the disqualification.RVD gets a taste of Cesaro’s neutralizer as well as Paul Hayman looks on from the stage nodding his head at the destruction carried out by his client.
