Jey Uso and Gunther will square off at Saturday Night's Main Event on January 25, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. The Yeet Master and The Ring General had a heated segment on Monday on RAW, which led to the title match announcement for SNME.

However, WWE may have spoiled the outcome of this match after announcing that Jey Uso would compete at the Royal Rumble Match in Indianapolis on February 1.

The fact that the Yeet Master has been declared for the Royal Rumble Match makes it clear that he is not going to dethrone Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event.

It wouldn't make much sense for WWE to make Jey Uso World Champion and have him put the title on the line against 29 other men at the Rumble a week later.

The most likely scenario is that The Ring General will win this one, and Jey will look to win the Rumble to get another title shot.

WWE may plan a Gunther vs Goldberg face-off at Royal Rumble

It is unlikely that the reigning World Heavyweight Champion will be in action at Royal Rumble since he will compete at Saturday Night's Main Event. This doesn't mean that he will not be part of the show, though.

WWE may plan a face-off between Gunther and Goldberg at Rumble, just like they did at Bad Blood. On this occasion, though, this face-off will pave the way for a match at WrestleMania 41.

Goldberg will have one final match in WWE, and his opponent will likely be Gunther, with 'Mania being the most likely premium live event for the match to take place.

CM Punk or Seth Rollins should be the ones to dethrone The Ring General

The feud between CM Punk and Seth Rollins is far from over, and the two megastars have declared themselves for the men's Royal Rumble match. The expectation is that either of the two will dethrone Gunther in one of the coming premium live events, so the next time they meet the World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line.

The Rumble Match will shed more light on the direction WWE Creative will take, but Punk has already made it clear that he is targeting the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
