WWE recently released a video package for the event ahead of ticket sales, which start on November 15, 2024. In the video, there was a surprise appearance by none other than John Cena. The former World Heavyweight Champion had previously stated that the 2025 edition of the Royal Rumble would be his final before retirement, but he had not yet been officially advertised for the show. This video package, however, all but confirms that Cena will be present at the event.

Other major stars featured in the video package include Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, and Logan Paul among others.
