WWE Superstar Sami Zayn has expressed his desire to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. A few weeks ago on RAW, he confronted the reigning champion, Gunther, to request a title shot, though The Ring General has yet to accept the challenge.

Reports have surfaced suggesting that a World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Zayn is being planned for WWE's upcoming Bad Blood premium live event. However, the latest episode of RAW hints that the company might be looking to schedule this highly anticipated bout for Crown Jewel instead, which is set to take place on November 2 in Saudi Arabia.

Gunther keeps on declining Sami Zayn's challenge

Gunther has repeatedly turned down Sami Zayn's challenge for a shot at his World Heavyweight Championship. He believes that Zayn is not on his level and doesn't deserve the opportunity.

This pattern continued on the latest episode of RAW, where Gunther once again refused Zayn's request. Next week, Zayn is set to face Gunther's Imperium stablemate, Ludwig Kaiser, in a one-on-one match.

Given how they are prolonging this storyline, it seems unlikely that this feud will culminate at Bad Blood, which is just a couple of weeks away.

Five matches have already been announced for WWE Bad Blood

WWE has found a successful formula for the PLEs, typically featuring only five matches per event except for major shows like WrestleMania or SummerSlam.

With five matches already announced for Bad Blood, it seems unlikely that another match, let alone Gunther vs. Sami Zayn, will be added to the match card.

Sami Zayn is a crowd favorite in Saudi Arabia

Crown Jewel is set to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Given that Sami Zayn is arguably the most popular star among fans there, WWE is likely to have a major program planned for him.

A potential World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther could be a key feature of the event, possibly even main-eventing the show. This would cater to the Saudi audience and provide a high-stakes match to elevate the premium live event.
