CM Punk fought his first professional MMA fight against Mickey Gall at UFC 203...

There is some breaking news thanks to well-known MMA trainer Duke Roufus' Instagram account. CM Punk has officially started a training camp to prepare for his second career professional mixed martial arts match.

Take a look at the post below:

The Instagram post definitely shows that Punk is ready for his next challenge after a defeat in his first match for the UFC against Mickey Gall. Punk submitted to a rear naked choke a little over two minutes into the first round in the match that took place on September 10, 2016 at UFC 203.

Roufus used the hashtag #UFC in the post, so that could mean that Dana White is giving him another shot at an upcoming UFC event despite saying that "he is probably not going to fight in the UFC again" during an October 2016 interview.

CM Punk wrestled professionally from 1999 to 2014. He started off in the independent scene wrestling for promotions such as Ring Of Honor and TNA.

In 2005 he made the jump to the WWE and would eventually become the company's biggest star. His is a five-time WWE champion, including the longest reign of the past 30 years when he held the title for 434 days in 2011 to 2013.

At the time of this writing, there are no other details on who Punk is going to fight and when the fight would take place. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further information on the matter.
