If anything was worth taking away from last week’s show, it was the face-off between AJ Styles and John Cena. Cena delivered a passionate promo which was then canceled out thanks to some excellent work by AJ Styles, who dropped the ‘John Cena buries guys like me’ dialogue. This shows the attempt of WWE to build up AJ Styles as the representative of the Internet fan base, which is the same tactic that they pulled off with CM Punk.
The rebel nature of The Club does add on to this and with only one stop at their disposal, something big could happen on Raw this week.
