Goldberg was laid out by Brock Lesnar last week. The reigning WWE Universal champion was supposed to gain some momentum from his huge title win at Fastlane, but instead, WWE allowed Lesnar to get the upper hand. In the long run, this benefits the feud because Lesnar needs to be projected as a worthy title contender.

It will be interesting to see how Goldberg reacts from such a setback. The feud needs a huge spotlight as both superstars are part-timers and not having them on-screen for a long time could hurt WWE’s WrestleMania plans.
