Cena’s Open Challenge
John Cena’s United States championship open invitational that happened last week broke the internet. Kevin Owens answering the call and simply getting one over the Cenation leader was a big angle indeed and these two now have a date for Elimination Chamber.
Despite a major match happening on Sunday, Cena is likely to be out there on Raw with his Open challenge.
WWE will be presented with yet another opportunity to put over a young superstar at the expense of John Cena. Someone like Adam Rose would be a great choice as he is having a lot of support from the fans thanks to the E60 ESPN documentary that came in a few weeks back.
Storylines for Roman Reigns and Randy Orton
Early five days away from Elimination Chamber, WWE have not storylines for Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. Both the superstars were in the headline of Payback recently and were title contenders as well. Not having them on the Elimination Chamber card will expose WWE’s weakness in planning and they should come up with something this week.
The best possibilities for these two superstars are Kane and Big Show even though it doesn’t sound mighty impressive. Show is expected to make his return anytime soon now and WWE will have to keep Kane away from the Dean Ambrose – Seth Rollins bout, making the tag team match a good choice.
Revenge of the Lunatic
WWE is going with the Dean Ambrose – Seth Rollins feud once again as it seems. The former Shield members have enough chemistry in them to fight for the rest of the century and are almost sure to steal the show at Elimination Chamber. Last week, Seth got the upper hand on Dean thanks to his stooges in the Authority and knowing the Lunatic Fringe, he will not sit quietly this week.
Dean will come all guns blazing this week on Raw and will be seeking his revenge against the Authority. The way he chooses to do so is the interesting part in all these as he clearly has a differently wired head from which a lot of insane ideas can poke up.
