Monday Night Raw will head to SAP Center in San Jose, California this week and considering the Elimination Chamber is only 2 weeks away, the company will focus on building the show around the PPV. The only match scheduled to take place is the colossal Fatal-4-way to determine the final entrant in the Men's Elimination Chamber match.
It's obvious that WWE will try everything in their power to produce a blockbuster episode of Raw and with that being said, let's look at what awaits us tonight at the SAP Center.
#1 There will be new challengers for The Bar
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
'The Bar' is currently dominating the Raw Tag Team Division and, it seemed likely that their rivalry with Seth and Jason reached it's climax last week which means that there could be new challengers waiting to hold that prize. WWE has done a great job in elevating The Bar as a unit and don't be surprised if they continue to dominate action tonight as well.
There aren't many tag teams on the Red brand that stand a legitimate chance of getting an opportunity against the Bar except for the Revival and the Good Brothers. The company might book the two teams in a match together to find out who will challenge the champions at the Elimination Chamber.
#2 The Monster Among Men will continue his path of destruction
Braun Strowman faced Elias and John Cena in a Triple threat match last week with the winner earning the right to enter last in the Chamber and the bout ended with Elias getting the win. WWE made Braun, look strong last week and it seems that the Monster will continue his path of destruction tonight as well.
He is not scheduled for a match tonight on Raw but it won't be surprising if he is booked against Elias or John before the show rolls. Since the emphasis will be on promoting Elimination Chamber, it is a definite possibility that Braun Strowman will be heavily featured tonight. Except for decimation at the SAP Center.
#3 The Big Dog will look to seek redemption
Roman Reigns will head to the SAP Center with revenge in his mind after losing to the Miz in two consecutive matches and from a creative standpoint, it seems likely that we are going to see them collide again tonight. 'The Big Dog' has been an influential performer on Monday Night Raw and, will look to seek redemption by decimating the Intercontinental Champion and his entourage.
As I said, the focus would be the promotion of Elimination Chamber and, booking this match would emerge beneficial for the company and seems like the ideal way to go. 'The Big Dog' needs momentum heading into the Chamber and a win over 'the A-Lister' would definitely bring him back to his position.
#4 Seth Rollins and Kurt Angle could get into a heated argument
'The Architect' has been in a solid feud with Jason Jordan and the company has built the feud nicely but, an unfortunate injury has put Jordan's in-ring return in jeopardy which means that Seth Rollins would be looking for his way out of the tag team division to focus on new prospects. The man had a brilliant backstage segment with Jason and Kurt that got the world talking and judging by the response it got, it seems likely that the WWE will book another segment for tonight.
A potential segment between 'the Architect' and 'the Olympic Gold Medalist' arguing about Jason Jordan could be the moment of the night and, will definitely feature Rollins in monumental fashion. There could be a possibility that the company might be secretly booking Seth Vs Angle for WrestleMania and if that's the case, there will be a little glimpse of that teaser tonight.
#5 Finn Balor will be the last entrant in the Elimination Chamber
A Fatal-4-way match is scheduled to take place tonight at the SAP Center with Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy fighting it out to claim a monumental opportunity to earn the final spot in the Elimination Chamber. The fans have been disappointed with Finn's current booking and it seems likely that 'the Demon' will bounce back and, produce what is expected of him tonight to earn a spot in the Chamber.
WWE will also try to focus on the ongoing feud between Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy which only goes on to justify that Finn Balor stands a legitimate chance at winning this match tonight. Expect the match to be solid with Finn and Apollo doing most of the technical work with Matt and Bray decimating each other. The inclusion of Apollo Crews is to take the pin and, a win for Balor would definitely give him the necessary momentum he needs.
