As we inch ever so close to the inter-brand showdown at Survivor Series, this week's episode of Raw comes to us from the pro wrestling haven of Manchester, England.

Usually a raucous setting, the English WWE Universe will have all the more reason to make some noise as the most must-see talk show in history, Miz TV, gets the ball rolling with special guest Kurt Angle.
The novelty is only added to when Elias takes on Jason Jordan in a Guitar-on-a-Pole-match, in an attempt to settle their bad blood once and for all.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Speaking of which, now that Braun Strowman has made his return from being unceremoniously dumped in a garbage truck, is a monstrous clash between him and Kane an inevitability now?
And what of the Champions who are scheduled to defend their Titles at Survivor Series? Will they remain on their respective thrones long enough to do so?
Find out as we run through all this and more in our preview of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw!
#5 Kane's resurgence
Ever since returning to Team Miz's fifth member at TLC, Kane has been on an absolute tear.
He's laid Finn Balor to waste (twice), targetted both Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose and even ambushed visiting SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan...regardless of the fact that the duo was once part of the same team.
But whoever else he victimizes, we all know that the true battle for Kane lies ahead with Braun Strowman - the man whose 'demise' at TLC was chiefly engineered by the Big Red Machine.
With Strowman returning with a vengeance last week, will we see the two behemoths cross paths again to finish what they started?
#4 Captain goes down with the ship
Alicia Fox may have won a match that earned her the right to be Raw's team captain...but it seriously looks like she's doing everything in her power to do a bad job with it.
Tempermental and erratic, Fox has hardly endeared herself to the Raw women's roster, something that needs immediate surgery if she wants willing participants to fill up the remainder of the spots on the team for Survivor Series.
As of now, she does have Nia Jax in the team, which solves half the problem...but should Fox continue to alienate the remainder of the locker room, who's to say that even Nia won't up and walk away?
#3 On a sour note
Guitar-on-a-Pole match.
The name tells you everything you need to know about the rivalry between Jason Jordan and Elias.
The two have crossed paths incessantly over the past few weeks with Jordan making it a point to interrupt Elias' performances. And each time, the guitar has been used in some capacity.
It is only fitting then, that the first person to retrieve the guitar and smash his opponent with it comes out of this rivalry with his hand raised.
As they say...if you live by the guitar, you die by it too.
#3 Miz TV hosts Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle's job as Raw GM was put under direct threat when Stephanie McMahon showed up on Raw and demanded that he lead the team out at Survivor Series.
Not only that, she made it crystal clear that failure was not an option.
Under intense pressure already, some would say that the last thing Kurt Angle needs would be to sit across the Miz and subject himself to further scrutiny.
And yet, Miz TV kicks off Monday Night Raw this week with Kurt Angle as the special guest.
It's a given that the sharp-tongued Hollywood A-Lister will further add to the Raw GMs woes by prodding him with uncomfortable questions.
The question is...how will Kurt Angle react?
#1 Champions under threat
Survivor Series isn't shaping up into a mega event just because Raw has to fight off SmackDown Live's siege...but also because it promises a trial by fire for the Champions on each brand.
But if the Titleholders thought that they can put their feet up until November 19th and slack off, they've presumably got another thing coming.
As Kurt Angle made abundantly clear last week by having the Miz and Alexa Bliss defend their belts, no Champion gets a free pass on Raw.
With Title defences coming thick and fast even in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view then...one can't help but wonder if the Superstars that are Champions today will remain so when Survivor Series swings by.
