Drew McIntyre doesn't need the Money in the Bank briefcase to challenge for world titles

Drew McIntyre defeated AJ Styles and Riddle to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match. There is no denying that he was one of the best performers in the ThunderDome, and he deserves a world title reign in front of a live audience.

While WWE fans would love to see him back at the top of the mountain, the creative team needs to wait a while before pushing McIntyre back into the WWE Championship picture.

The Scottish Warrior has enjoyed a dominant run on RAW, and it would be interesting to see how well he carries himself without the title. Additionally, McIntyre winning the Money in the Bank contract will mainly mean that he will go after Bobby Lashley again – a rivalry that we have seen extensively unfold on RAW since earlier this year.

Drew McIntyre doesn’t need the Money in the Bank contract to pose a serious threat to the world championship reign.
