Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley last night at Money in the Bank to become a record 14-time WWE Women's Champion.
Rhea Ripley has held the Championship since WrestleMania and has proved to be worthy of holding the title in the absence of Charlotte Flair. It's been made apparent that Ripley took Flair's place when she wasn't able to wrestle at WrestleMania, but The Nightmare has been a fantastic champion over the past few months.

Charlotte Flair is already the most decorated female wrestler in the history of the company, last night was her chance to put Ripley over and allow the former NXT Champion to dominate RAW and move on to a new challenger in the Women's Division.
Instead, this booking shows that regardless of the fact that it's a new era in WWE, the company is happy to book the same old thing and always push the default button to throw a Championship on Charlotte when things get too tough.
