WWE Money in the Bank 2024 was a wild night for wrestling. As the last big event before SummerSlam, it set in motion several feuds, saw two legendary returns, a huge retirement announcement, Drew McIntyre's continued suffering, and much more.

The night ended with a shock, as an unexpected star won, while a new star was crowned in the women's division in a hard-hitting match.

WWE Money in the Bank Results (July 6, 2024):

  • Drew McIntyre won the ladder match and became Mr. Money in the Bank
  • Sami Zayn def. Bron Breakker to retain the Intercontinental Championship
  • Damian Priest def. Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Tiffany Stratton won the ladder match and became Ms. Money in the Bank
  • The Bloodline def. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens

WWE Money in the Bank Results: Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match

The match started off with an all-out brawl, and Jey Uso and LA Knight sent Drew McIntyre outside as they had done last night on SmackDown.

Chad Gable and Jey went at it in the corner while Knight and Carmelo Hayes were in the other corner before Jey and Knight cleared the ring. Gable and Melo brought in ladders, and Andrade was tossed into one before Gable met the same fate.

Jey and Drew were battling it out in the ring, and Uso speared McIntyre before Knight stopped Gable from climbing the ladder. Gable took a huge neckbreaker before Knight bridged a ladder between the ring and the announce desk. Melo dodged a drop on the ladder while Andrade took the Claymore in the ring.

Jey took the Glasgow Kiss before Knight came in with the BFT on McIntyre. Jey came back with the Uso splash before Drew was sent outside again. Carmelo and Andrade went up the ladder and were dropped before Gable hung from the briefcase as the ladder was dragged away.

Jey climbed up next, but Drew dragged him down before getting the briefcase for himself!

Result: Drew McIntyre won the ladder match and became Mr. Money in the Bank

WWE Money in the Bank Results: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - Intercontinental Championship match

Bron Breakker got the first takedown and taunted Sami Zayn before the champ slapped him in the face, angering him. Sami got a knee to the face before tossing Breakker over the ropes and hitting a springboard moonsault.

Breakker came back with a massive clothesline and a suplex before getting the champ with the running knee in the corner.

Sami came back with some chops but took another suplex for a near fall before getting a massive tornado DDT for a near fall of his own. Bron was sent outside once more before the champ drove him head-first into the ring post. Breakker countered the Helluva kick with a clothesline before Sami countered the Spear with the Blue Thunder Bomb.

Zayn took the Frankensteiner before leapfrogging over the running spear on the outside. Bron drove the champ into the announce desk, disabling Michael Cole's mic for a second.

Back in the ring, Sami got the Xploder Suplex in the corner before Bron came back with the Gorilla Press Slam. Sami countered the spear with a boot and got the Helluva kick for the win.

Result: Sami Zayn def. Bron Breakker to retain the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank

We learned that the WWE premium live event Bad Blood would be returning after 27 years in October.

Trish Stratus showed up at Money in the Bank and greeted the Toronto crowd before welcoming John Cena into the arena!

Cena came out and announced that he would be retiring soon. He will compete in the 2025 Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber as well as WrestleMania 41, which will be the final event of his WWE career. He said that the "Last Time is Now" before walking off.

WWE Money in the Bank Results: Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre - World Heavyweight Championship match

The champ got a Broken Arrow and a flatliner early on before Seth Rollins came back with a Superkick takedown, followed by a Swanton Bomb and a moonsault. Rollins countered the chokeslam and the whole time Damian Priest was looking over his shoulder at the entrance ramp, expecting Drew McIntyre to show up.

Rollins got a big boot and a splash for a near fall before hitting the buckle bomb on the champ. Damian got a powerbomb on The Visionary before the two traded strikes and kicks in the middle of the ring. Priest dodged the Pedigree but took the stomp before hitting Rollins with the Razor's Edge.

The champ took a superplex and the Falcon Arrow, and it looked like he botched the kick out, getting his shoulder up after the three-count, and the match continued nonetheless. Drew McIntyre came out and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, turning it into a Triple Threat match!

Rollins took a big DDT from Drew before he was sent outside. Drew went after the champ, but CM Punk came in and attacked McIntyre, dragging him outside and beating him down with a steel chair!

Punk went for the Heavyweight Title belt and hit Drew in the face with it before sitting down on the announce desk. Damian recovered and hit the South of Heaven chokeslam on Drew for the win!

Result: Damian Priest def. Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank

Thanks to CM Punk, Seth Rollins will not get another title shot as long as Damian Priest is the champion! After the match, Seth was about to go after CM Punk, but Corey Graves held him back.

WWE Money in the Bank Results: Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match

Chelsea Green was the first to set up a ladder and climb it, but then she realized she was afraid of heights before IYO SKY took her out with a dropkick. Lyra Valkyria sent SKY into a ladder into the corner before taking her down with a suplex onto another ladder.

Zoey Stark took Lyra out with a big dropkick before slamming her onto a ladder as well.

Stark went for a big drop onto Lyra on the ladder but hit her head on the ladder on the way down. Naomi caught Stark with a leg drop and a moonsault on a ladder before Tiffany Stratton hit Naomi with an Alabama Slam on the ladder. Stratton hit a moonsault on the superstars outside before SKY took Green out from on top of the ladder.

SKY got some big stomps on Lyra on the ladder before Naomi made her way to the top, only to be taken down by Stratton. Naomi took out a table but was sent into the steel steps before Green and Stratton teamed up to set up two tables at ringside. The women bridged two ladders between the middle rope and the rungs of a third ladder before Lyra was dropped on one of them.

Chelsea climbed one of the ladder bridges and dropped Naomi on it with an Unprettier before Zoey and SKY met on top of the ladder. SKY blocked a superplex from the top and dropped Stark on the other ladder bridge!

Chelsea Green almost got the briefcase, but Stratton dropped her through the tables outside before she got the briefcase for herself!

Results: Tiffany Stratton won the ladder match and became Ms. Money in the Bank

Trish Stratus was backstage in an interview when she was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton. The two talked trash for a bit before we headed for the final match of the night.

WWE Money in the Bank Results: The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens

Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa were set to start the match, but Tama Tonga was tagged before we got to the action. Cody got a boot to the face and a bulldog on Tonga before tagging Owens, who unloaded on Tama in the ring. Cody came back with a stalling vertical suplex before tagging in Randy Orton.

Cody and the gang were now firmly in control before Jacob Fatu was tagged in. Randy tossed Fatu outside the ring and hit the draping DDT on the ropes, but Jacob recovered instantly and hit a Samoan Drop on The Viper. Owens and Tama tagged back in, and KO cleared the apron before taking Tonga down the corner for the cannonball.

Solo came in and isolated KO after a cheap shot from Tonga Loa. KO took some hip attacks from Solo and Fatu before Solo and the Tongans delivered a beatdown to Owens in the corner. Solo was sent outside and Tonga Loa took Randy down from the apron, not allowing Owens to get the tag.

KO dodged a hip attack and a splash in the corner before Cody was tagged back in. Cody got the Disaster kick and the Cody Cutter on Solo and Tama before sending all three members of the Bloodline outside. Tonga Loa was hit with a dive to the outside from Cody before Rhodes sent Fatu over the barricades and into the ringside doctor!

Back in the ring, Solo got the spear on Cody and dodged the Pedigree, but the official was wiped out in the carnage. Solo took the Cross Rhodes and a frog splash from KO before Randy came in with the RKO. Cody cleared the announce desk, but Fatu came back and stopped the assault on Solo. Owens got a stunner on Tama before putting Fatu through the announce desk with a frog splash.

We lost Corey Graves' mic in the carnage as KO was about to finish things in the ring, but Tonga Loa hit him with a low blow. Randy came in with two RKOs on the Tongans before taking the Samoan Spike.

Cody came back and was about to take Solo down, but Fatu came back and took Rhodes down with a massive DDT. Solo hit the spike on the Undisputed WWE Champion and pinned him before The Bloodline picked up the win!
