Both men ran at each other as soon as the bell rang at Money In The Bank and Kofi was in trouble. Lashley knocked him around early on before dumping Kofi straight outside the ring. The All Mighty sent Kingston into the ring posts before continuing the onslaught back inside the squared circle.

Lashley got the Hurt Lock in before tossing Kofi across the ring after he broke the hold. Lashley hit the Dominator twice, punishing Kofi and refusing to go for the pin. Lashley hit a third Dominator before going for the Hurt Lock once more.

Kofi was passed out while in the Hurt Lock and Lashley retained without much difficulty.

Result: Bobby Lashley def. Kofi Kingston to retain the WWE Championship

Charlotte had the upper hand early on at Money In The Bank and hit a big Exploder Suplex for a near fall. Ripley was barely on her feet but managed to send Charlotte outside off a counter before taking control of the match in the ring with a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall.
