Amongst all the plausible results for this match. there is one that could occur when both parties are fighting and not playing by the rules. With this potentially being the first match of a few, we could see a case where Rollins and Elias refuse to abide by the rules. This could result in the match to be thrown out. The no contest could either be a double count out or the result of both men refusing to stop fighting in the ropes. A heated battle that ends in a referee stoppage could help further along their feud.

One intriguing option would if they are both were counted out of the match. The rationale being Rollins was preoccupied with trying to get his hands-on Elias, and the challenger refused to get in the ring. It is a case where a win meant little to Rollins, and he was more concerned with achieving vengeance on Elias. A no-contest finish is very much possible.
