Triple H: Okay we have Ricochet, Andrade, Ali and more great young talents who could use the #MITB win to catapult to superstardom. Which one should we book to win #MoneyInTheBank?Vince McMahon: Brock Lesnar.HHH: pic.twitter.com/3LPQvBVmdK
We know that Brock Lesnar only signs short term deals in WWE meaning that there's always a possibility that he could potentially sign with the competition. Do not forget that Brock Lesnar has previously wrestled for NJPW too. He will go where the money is good and where the opportunities are rife.
If AEW gets their paws on Brock Lesnar, they could potentially take away WWE's biggest draw. It would be as big a setback for the company as losing Dean Ambrose to AEW would be, if the rumors are right. Maybe even more so because then AEW would have an established household name.

I suppose Vince McMahon could have given the Money in the Bank contract to Brock Lesnar to keep him happy and satisfied. He probably does not want to take chances because of the new entrants into the marketplace.
