Seth Rollins (c) vs. AJ Styles - Universal Championship match

Both competitors were gauging each other as the match began and Rollins hit a big takedown. AJ replied with a dropkick of his own before Rollins hit a hip toss and right hooks to the head of AJ. Rollins drove Styles' head into the turnbuckles before AJ went for a Styles Clash on the apron but hit a drive-by instead.

Rollins hit a Suicide Dive and sent Styles bouncing off the announce table. Both men beat the count and Rollins hit another Suicide Dive and then a sling blade. Rollins started kicking AJ in the head before Styles hit the neck-breaker, slowing Rollins down.

Styles reversed a Styles Clash into a buckle bomb and then a splash but AJ managed to kick out after all of that. Styles hit a Superkick and AJ locked in the Claf Crusher in the middle of the ring. Rollins fought out with a kick to the jaw of AJ who countered with a reverse DDT off the turnbuckles.

Rollins hit a big kick to the face but AJ reversed the stomp into a Styles Clash but Rollins still managed to get a shoulder up. Rollins finally managed to hit the stomp and got the pin on Styles, retaining the title.

Result: Seth Rollins def. AJ Styles and retained the Universal Championship
