It's been a long wait for Tamina to become SmackDown Women's Champion or a Women's Champion of any kind.
Tamina has been on WWE's main roster for more than a decade and has had only a handful of shots at Championships, with this being her first singles Championship match since 2014.
The current climate in WWE is looking bleak given the recent releases, but the fact that Kofi Kingston was pushed to the World Championship last year definitely gives Tamina some hope here. She hasn't got a lot of years left when it comes to her in-ring career and the mother of two would love to go out with a bang. Handing her a Championship run in possibly the twilight years of her career would be a fantastic way to do it.

Vince McMahon is all about the shocks and Tamina becoming Women's Champion would the biggest shock of the night, so don't count her out.
