#2 Giving the SmackDown Live women opportunities
As stated in the previous slide, the SmackDown Live women's division is pretty much bloated at this point in time. It would be logical on WWE's part to have the champion from the brand itself.
Charlotte Flair is going to face Becky Lynch at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view for the SmackDown Live women's championship. And as much as it hurts to say this, Charlotte needs to win the title.
Having Becky in two championship matches takes away a spot from another deserving superstar. A SmackDown Live only women's champion would mean that other women on the blue brand will get more opportunities.
If Charlotte happens to win the title, she would have more than enough competitors in Bayley, Ember Moon, Kairi Sane, and others to take the division forward. Most of the matches would be fresh, and the fans would be invested in them.
