Speaking of friends turning on one another, Kevin Owens may not be the only member to quit The New Day. Xavier Woods is far too talented an individual to be sitting on the sidelines as an ancillary character in the Kofi Kingston story. What if it is Woods who helps Kevin Owens become WWE Champion?

This could effectively take Kofi Kingston out of the title picture to feud with Xavier Woods, while Kevin Owens holds the Championship. Owens could move on to a whole bunch of new challengers from Roman Reigns to Lars Sullivan. This will freshen up the title picture quite significantly.

Woods have been little more than a cheerleader for Kofi Kingston since WrestleMania and it is not fair to someone with his talent, in my opinion. Plus, Big E could adopt a brand new character upon his return, dissolving the New Day.
