The WWE creative has a good experience of being haunted by the bad booking decisions they make but this didnt stop them from having some more botches at Money in the Bank. With so much hype surrounding the pay-per-view, the company had a golden opportunity in their hands to secure the future and give the gams what they want. It was clichd moves instead of taking some risks which is sure to backfire in the near future.Though the Money in the Bank pay-per-view gave a lot of moments to cherish in the memory, here is a look at some of the decisions which couldve rectified by the company in order to make the show better.
#5 Bo Dallas segment with Daniel Bryan

For the past few weeks, WWE had been building up Bo Dallas well and he was getting over with the fans as a face. Bo managed to get good reactions from the crowd and also had great momentum heading into Money in the bank.
And instead of giving him a chance to extend his streak, the company decided to give Bo some time with Daniel Bryan which made no sense at all.
Sharing a stage with Daniel Bryan is clearly a big deal but making a fool out of yourself is something that is not graceful, especially for someone like Bo who had some momentum going for him.
He just got silenced by Bryan and it wasn’t one of those inspirational things from Bo’s part to be frank. WWE has also taken his character back to the fence as he got screwed over by the fans after Bryan ignited the chants.
#4 Filler matches

Three of the seven matches that WWE had looked nothing more than filler and all three disappointed to the core. This might not be the level of matches that the company should give for the fans who spent their well-earned money to buy pay-per-views.
To start, the Damien Sandow vs. Adam Rose was one match which we usually never see beyond Superstar or Main event. Also the tag team match between Rybaxel and Rhodes Brothers only focused on how weird Stardust can be instead of the action.
The most disappointing match however would be the Summer Rae- Layla one. Both are well polished divas in the ring and the company only gave them some bad booking and short time limit to perform a below par matchup.
#3 Screwy ending to contract Ladder match

Without any doubt, the Money in the bank ladder match for the contract was the best match of the pay-per-view. It had a lot of spots and some frantic pace which kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in particular were throwing their body like nothing while all the others complemented well. The match seemed to be heading for an exciting ending but instead the fans saw Kane interfere and screw up the whole thing.
It surely does give some launching pad for the Authority in their angle with Dean Ambrose but on a bigger note it’s unfair to the fans who wanted to see someone win it clean.
There were a lot of other ways in which the company could’ve given Rollins the briefcase and also if Kane decides to interfere in any match that happens, the writers should start to revising their resume.
#2 Ending the tag titles feud

Heading into the pay-per-view, the Usos and Wyatt family was sure to deliver a top notch matchup for the title. That did happen at Money in the Bank but unfortunately since Usos has won; the feud which had so much potential is simply wasted.
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper was arguably the biggest challenge that Usos had in recent history and WWE could’ve stretched this feud to one or two pay-per-view if they had let Usos drop the title.
Now that Usos has won the match fair and square, the Wyatt family has lost their credibility to challenge again for the title which is a shame since these two teams have great chemistry.
The lack of good tag teams in the division is also a concerning factor after this making it one of the most crucial mistakes of the night.
#1 John Cena winning the title

The company took the safest path by handing over the title to John Cena. He has been the savior of Vince McMahon for a long time now and Cena is thrusted back into main event scene after that. Though these things are said a million times before, Cena winning the title wasn't good for business. The WWE could've easily let someone new take the spotlight and catapulted into the title picture than going with the established Cena. Also, the possibility of Cena locking horns with Authority isn't exciting since the best goons of Hunter are Kane and Randy Orton. Daniel Bryan possibly undergoing another surgery make matter worse for the new champion. The only benefit that the company would be seeing from this reign would be a Brock Lesnar-Cena match at SummerSlam but then again Cena will win it too since Lesnar wouldn't have much time to stick around as champion.
