The Bad - James Ellsworth's return
As expected, James Ellsworth made his WWE return at the 2018 WWE Money in the Bank. Coming to aid his beloved Carmella, Ellsworth cost Asuka her chance at the WWE Championship when he distracted her. Carmella made the most of her opportunity and attacked Asuka from behind to achieve the pinfall victory.
Ellsworth's return in itself isn't bad and neither was the interesting way he did it, dressed from head to toe as a mirror image of Asuka. James Ellsworth's return at Money in the Bank; however, brings back awful memories of his interference at last year's Money in the Bank Match. In a blight on history, Ellsworth ruined the first ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match by climbing the ladder and handed the briefcase to Carmella.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The move was so unpopular the match had to be redone on an episode of Smackdown. The event was so preposterous and such a proverbial slap in the face to the Women's Revolution, one has to wonder why the WWE would revel in reliving it, even celebrating it by allowing Ellsworth to return on its one year anniversary.
