With just 13 days to go for TLC, WWE focused on building up the TLC match card on this week’s RAW. Even though Roman Reigns was the focal point of the night’ proceedings, other stars were intertwined in the storyline.
Two major matches have been made official coming out of RAW, one is the Intercontinental Championship match and other was the match for the Tag team titles.
Dean Ambrose is set to face Kevin Owens for the IC title whereas WWE booked a triple threat match for the Tag team titles featuring The Usos, Lucha Dragons and the Champions New Day.
Lucha Dragons and The Usos squared off on RAW in a no.1 contender match, but the bout ended in a no contest after New Day, who were on commentary, interfered in the match resulting in a double DQ.
Both the distraught teams confronted The Game and Stephanie backstage demanding a shot at the titles. Although the Authority guaranteed The Dragons a shot at TLC, Usos were given a condition that they would lose their opportunity if Reigns didn’t win his World title match against Sheamus in under 5 minutes and 15 seconds on RAW later on in the night.
The same went for Ambrose, who was to lose his no.1 contender's status if Reigns failed to beat the clock. Reigns’ match ended in a DQ after Rusev attacked Reigns, who looked like he would indeed beat Sheamus under the prescribed time limit to capture the gold.
The WWE later on made the two title matches official. Below is the updated match card for the December 13th pay-per-view from Boston.
