What’s the story?
WWE announced the live event dates for 205 Live via Twitter and revealed that their shows will be taking place in the north-east region starting on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
In case you didn’t know...
205 Live was born following the success of the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016. With the exception of Enzo Amore and Kalisto, all current superstars on 205 Live were introduced to the WWE through the tournament and signed deals to go on to wrestle on Raw and 205 Live.

The Cruiserweight Championship was created as the prize for the winner of the Cruiserweight Classic finals. Since the end of the tournament, there have been six Cruiserweight Champions, and Amore is the current champion.
The heart of the matter
WWE will begin the 205 Live exclusive house shows the week before NXT Takeover: Philadelphia and the Royal Rumble. The shows will begin on Friday, January 19 in Kingston, Rhode Island and end on Sunday, January 21 in Poughkeepsie, New York, which is the day before the WWE Monday Night Raw 25th Anniversary at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The following are the official dates and venues for the upcoming 205 Live exclusive house shows:
Ryan Center – Kingston, Rhode Island – January 19, 2018
Lowell Memorial Auditorium – Lowell, Massachusetts – January 20, 2018
Mid-Hudson Civic Center – Poughkeepsie, New York – January 21, 2018
As reported, the WWE are running these shows in smaller venues with limited capacities. The highest capacity stadium the 205 Live tour will run will be the Ryan Center, which holds 7,657 people, and the smallest venue will be the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, which seats 2,800 people.
What’s next?
No matches have been announced for the upcoming tour, but the shows will more than likely focus on storylines from 205 Live and Monday Night Raw.
The lengths of the shows have also not been addressed, as the 205 Live roster currently has about 15 wrestlers, which would suggest that the lengths would be cut short. But that is pure speculation.

For better or for worse, this will prove what the interest level in 205 Live is. Judging by the crowd reaction, attendances for the show won't be anything special.
