According to a release from the WWE, superstars Adam Rose and Konnor – one-half of The Ascension – have been suspended for violating the company’s wellness policy.
The release reads:
“In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Raymond Leppan (Adam Rose) and Ryan Parmeter (Konnor) each for 60 days effective immediately for a second violation of the company’s policy.”

No further indication was given as to when either superstar’s first violation took place, but it seems Konnor’s first violation came back in 2006 when he was about to make a debut in ECW. The wellness policy relates to illegal drugs, performance enhancing drugs and other substances.
Rose has experienced something of a career rejuvenation recently as a member of the Social Outcasts stable. While the group, which also includes Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas and Heath Slater, has not held any titles, the men have found themselves on WWE programming more often for comedic value.
As for the Ascension, the team has struggled since being called up to the main roster after a dominant run in NXT. Konnor and partner Viktor were eliminated in the first round of the ongoing tournament by recent NXT call-ups Enzo and Cass.
