AJ Styles has once again retained his WWE Title over Shinsuke Nakamura
Despite failing to capture the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Shinsuke Nakamura once again earned himself another shot at AJ Styles’ World Title, as ‘The King of Strong Style’ went toe-to-toe with ‘The Phenomenal One’ in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at The Greatest Royal Rumble event.

However, much like the previous occasion at ‘Mania 34, Nakamura once again failed to capture the WWE Championship at the King Abdullah International Stadium when ‘The Artist’ and AJ Styles battled each other to a match that ended in an unfortunate double count.
But, speaking of the match itself, some could very well argue with the fact that this contest between Styles and Nakamura was somewhat better than their clash at WrestleMania 34 and with Shinsuke Nakamura portraying the character of an evil low-blowing villain, this match certainly did have a fresh vibe to it.
In the closing stages of the match, Styles aimed for The Phenomenal Forearm only for Nakamura to get out of harm's way and eventually hitting his opponent with yet another low blow, with the referee being distracted on the other side of the ring.
An irate AJ Styles then battled Nakamura to the outside of the ring long enough as both men got counted out, as ‘The Phenomenal One’ retained the WWE Title once again.
However, judging by the finish to this match it is safe to say that this feud is far from over and we might witness another championship match between Styles and Nakamura in the near future as well.
