What's the story?
As we get closer to WrestleMania, speculation abounds as to what the WWE landscape will look like after the Showcase of the Immortals. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, everything is pointing towards to the man who built the house known as Smackdown Live heading to Raw.
In case you didn't know...
WWE Champion AJ Styles has a daunting task ahead of him on Sunday, as he defends his title against five other competitors at Fastlane. And it seems highly likely that the anticipated WrestleMania match between him and Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura will go on as planned. Rumor has it that WWE has been wanting a "five-star" level match at WrestleMania ever since Styles and Nakamura tore the house down at WrestleKingdom 10.

The heart of the matter
According to Meltzer's logic, if Styles/Nakamura at 'Mania 34 goes on as planned, it only makes sense for the former NXT champion to win. As he stated on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio:
Nakamura is getting a world title match at next month's PPV (WrestleMania). He probably shouldn't be losing.
He then went on to speculate AJ's future following the match...
I guess you could argue that if he wins, and then they move AJ over to the other side. Which it wouldn't shock me to see AJ move because they were going to do that last year anyways.
What's next?
While Dave's logic is sound, everything is kind of contingent on what happens at Fastlane.
Author's take
If Nakamura wins the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, Smackdown isn't going to be big enough for him and Styles. AJ has already proven that he's a big enough star to headline WWE's flagship show, and if they're going to pull the trigger on Shinsuke as World Champion, moving AJ makes the most sense.
Plus, if AJ and Shinsuke were both champions of their respective shows, I would mark out on a level not seen since Daniel Bryan and CM Punk did the same thing years ago.
