What's the story?
It was an exciting night of NXT action at Orlando’s Amway Center as all three NXT Championships were defended in front of the sold-out crowd.
In case you didn't know...
As previously reported on Sportskeeda, NXT officials introduced brand new title designs for all three of the brands Championships. Each of the championship match winners was presented with the newly redesigned titles at the conclusion of their match.

The heart of the matter
The first title that was defended during Takeover: Orlando was the NXT Tag Team Championship. In that match, The Authors of Pain were able to fend off the onslaught from two other tag teams en-route to retaining their titles.
Asuka was able to retain her NXT Women's Championship as she faced the upstart Superstar Ember Moon. Finally, the main event of the evening saw Bobby Roode defending his NXT Championship against former NXT Champ Shinsuke Nakamura. After another classic encounter, Roode was able to successfully retain his title.
What's next?
It is the biggest weekend of the year, Wrestlemania Weekend. The Superstars of NXT kicked things off just as we have grown to expect from the yellow brand, with yet another incredible NXT Takeover event.
With Takeover: Orlando now in the books, we move on to the biggest stage of all, Wrestlemania 33. While it is still unclear if we will see any NXT Superstars participating at Wrestlemania, many believe we could see the surprise appearance of either Shinsuke Nakamura or possibly Tye Dillinger.
Author’s take
Since the very first NXT Takeover event, I have been a believer. I'm not sure exactly how they did it or what the recipe to success includes, but whatever it is, Triple H and the NXT staff have it all figured out perfectly.
While I am indeed surprised that we didn't see a title change hands, it did not take away from the overall value of the event, as it was still up to the standards NXT has set for itself.
