- Bray Wyatt has officially been cleared to return to the ring, having been out of action since October 12th as a result of a calf injury. Originally expected to be out for a month, the rehabilitation apparently went better than expected, and he was off crutches and walking around on his own volition during live events in Mexico last week. He will likely face the Miz in a singles match at Hell in a Cell, given the current angle.
- Three new matches were added to this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell PPV as a result of the event on Monday Night RAW. At the top of the show, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque announced that, as a result of what happened on Smackdown, Brie Bella will face AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship. After pinning the Intercontinental Champion in a tag team match later in the night, Big E. Langston will face Curtis Axel for the championship on the online-only pre-show. Finally, new WWE Tag Team Champions Goldust and Cody Rhodes will defend the titles against the Usos, and Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins in a tag team triple threat match. Goldust will also face Seth Rollins one-on-one this week on WWE Main Event.
- WWE 2K14 releases next Tuesday. Those that pre-order the game will get the Ultimate Warrior as a bonus character.
- NXT star Xavier Woods was backstage at RAW tonight and took a photo at the announce desk with JBL before the show, in response to JBL (in-character) claiming he had no idea who Woods was after it was mentioned that Woods was petitioning for the Big Show to get his job back. Currently, Woods is still expected to start working the television shows sometime in the very near future. WWE are still building him up a bit before they pull the trigger.
- MizTV will return to Smackdown this week, with Miz’s guest being Randy Orton.
- For some reason, fans in attendance at RAW began an “AJ’s pregnant” chant, despite the fact that she doesn’t even remotely look pregnant. Reports indicate the chant really bothered the current WWE Divas Champion and was visually upset during her match with Brie Bella.
- Former NXT star Derrick Bateman is now working for TNA. He wrestles under the name Ethan Carter III, or “EC3″ for short, and has something of an arrogant movie star/male model-type gimmick. He made his debut at this past Sunday’s Bound For Glory event, defeating Norv Pernum.
