Luke Harper’s injury forced the WWE to pull the star from this weekend’s live events and it seems the former Intercontinental Champion is set to be sidelined for a lengthy timeframe. Harper suffered a knee injury in the dark match after the recent RAW in Philadelphia went off air.
WWE hasn’t come out to confirm the seriousness of his injury, but there has been a considerable backstage buzz at the recent live event at Madison Square Garden regarding his injury.
Word is that Harper’s injury is even more serious than previously imagined and it could see him miss out on in-ring action for a minimum of 5-6 months. According to PWInsider, Harper may have suffered a torn ACL and the prescribed rehab time for the same is said to be around 6 months. A Summerslam return is what’s on the cards if he is forced out of action due to the injury.
