She hurt her shoulder in her match with Nia Jax on the following episode of Raw. The injury came at a terrible time for Bayley, because SummerSlam was shaping up to be the biggest moment of her career since arriving on the main roster last year.

The heart of the matter

Bayley was seen at the Mae Young Classic red carpet event and she provided a positive update on her shoulder injury. Bayley said that she's doing good, and can move her shoulder to do day-to-day life stuff. She also that she hasn't been lifting any weights and is waiting for the doctor's further instructions on it.

She also stated: "Every day is better. It sounds cliche. but every day I get better."

What’s next?

Bayley will probably make it back to the ring in time and will probably set her sights on the Raw Women's Championship.

She is one of the most lovable babyfaces in the industry today and her return will make things interesting.

Author's take

It was great to see Bayley at the Mae Young Classic as she was one of the most important wrestlers of the women's revolution. It is even better to see her recovering from her injury and getting better every day.

Hopefully, she will return soon and get involved in amazing feuds with Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss.
