What's the story?
Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt took on The Revival in the finals of the Tag Team Eliminator on RAW. They made short work of their opponents and will head to Saudi Arabia to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
They will take on The Bar for the RAW Tag Team Championships at the event. The titles are currently vacant after the 'Nicholas' episode.
In case you didn't know...
The former RAW Tag Team Champions, The Bar, lost to the oddball duo of Braun Strowman and a boy named Nicholas at WrestleMania 34 in a move that sent shock waves across the world.
The following night on RAW, Strowman and Nicholas would surrender their Championships because Nicholas had a conflict in schedule considering he was only in the fourth grade.
WWE would then book a Tag Team Eliminator tournament with the winners taking on The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The heart of the matter
When Bray Wyatt fell into the Lake of Reincarnation, he was rid of the evil spirit who possessed him named Sister Abigail. He turned face and aligned himself with 'Woken' Matt Hardy and it seems like the tandem is operating as a Tag Team now.
Wyatt and Hardy won two matches on two consecutive episodes of RAW and are working quite splendidly together. They will take on The Bar, who suffered a loss at the hands of Breezango this week.
What's next?
All of the action goes down at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Friday, the 27th of April. Can The Bar recapture their Championships? Will the strange alliance of Wyatt and Hardy triumph?
Author's take
I am rooting for Wyatt and Hardy. These two need the win quite desperately, especially Bray Wyatt.
This should be a fun and entertaining match, all said and done!
