Goldberg, eventually, left WWE once again, after he suffered a defeat against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Since then, Brock Lesnar has been the successful holder of the Universal Championship.
Goldberg is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in this year's Hall of Fame Ceremony. While there are rumours that Paul Heyman is set to induct the former WCW Champion, this is yet to be confirmed.
Michael B. Jordan starred in 'Black Panther' as Erik 'Killmonger' Stevens, and was also Apollo Creed's son, Adonis, in the movie 'Creed'.
The heart of the matter
Michael B. Jordan and Bill Goldberg starred alongside each other in an advertisement for Direct TV. The advertisement starts with Jordan setting fire to the cable leading to the cable box.
In his characteristic way, Goldberg rolls into the room breaking the glass door to ask whether they need the box or not. Jordan replies that they no longer need it, as it explodes with a high-pitched noise.
You can watch the whole advertisement here:
Jordan has impressive acting credentials, having starred in one of the most successful Marvel Cinematic Universe films, which is breaking records in the box office. Goldberg has starred in a few films himself and has an impressive filmography to his name.
What's next?
Goldberg is set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, during the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in WrestleMania Weekend.
Author's take
The advertisement was hilarious, with Jordan's nonchalance to Goldberg's action-packed attitude setting a funny tone. Whether the two actually share the screen for a film remains to be seen.
