Everybody had been waiting for Booby Rodde’s debut in NXT ever since he was spotted in the crowd during NXT Takeover: Dallas. Roode was also seen in a short backstage segment during NXT Takeover: The End
Nobody knew what Roode’s role was going to be as. Was he going to be a heel or a face? What was his theme song going to be like? Luckily, both these questions were answered on the August 3rd edition of NXT, when Roode made his debut accompanied by a theme song which seemed to have been taken directly from a Queen album.
Bobby Roody’s theme “Glorious Domination” (Produced and Performed by CF0$) took the pro-wrestling world by storm. Everybody knew this was going to be the next song everybody would be singing at Takeovers, NXT T.V., and if the stars aligned properly, even at Wrestlemania someday.

In just two weeks, Roode’s theme surpassed one million views on YouTube, surpassing “My Time is Now” by John Cena which was uploaded on WWEMusic channel eight months ago.
Roode’s theme is behind AJ Styles’ theme “Phenomenal” which has 1.5 million views, and Shinsuke Nakamura’s theme, “The Rising Sun” which has 3.9 million views, but looking at the popularity of Roode’s song he will probably surpass Styles’ theme in a few weeks.
Roode’s theme was also the #1 soundtrack on the iTunes over the weekend and is still in the top 5. It’s so great to see that Bobby Roode is getting recognition on such a big stage and the fans during NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II also shared the same sentiment. Roode is possibly being groomed to challenged Shinsuke Nakamura for the NXT Championship in the near future.
What do you guys think? Do you like Bobby Roode’s theme? Would you like to see him challenge Nakamura for the NXT Championship?
